I was a kid and working on homework and bored and in need of cheering up

I saw on the TV "DIAL A JOKE!"

976 laff!!

I thought, Hey thats cool, and called. I liked it so much I called again.  

I then called again and again until I reached the end of the month and my mom asking me what I was writing down.

I said it was jokes I was getting from this number I call , I saw it on TV

My MOM looked at it and then called and she had both an appalled look and an angry one at the same time.

I found out it was 59 cents a call at the time. Thats a lot of money when you call 112 times

I told my mom I wanted to be popular at school and everyone thought I was great

well I was for 112 days at least

I know this is strange that I brought up both a personal event today and also something seemingly unrelated, but Hey , You know I have good reason for this story:

In App Purchases. Its on iTunes and its just like 976 or 1 900 purchases

you see you get something that is free and play and then you are hawked to buy something that will get you ahead or make you more popular, or "in the know"

it costs MONEY

but most of the time its a game of something your kid will do,.. and guess what its a kid who sill buy and do so without realizing whats gonna happen

I had this happen to a friend the other day, and to the tune of 478 dollars and 23 cents.

it took 6 days and a banned credit card to work at getting this refunded and the iTunes folks saying you need to place restrictions on the device to make it incapable of buying "IN APP PURCHASES"

Itunes even sent instructions and said if this happened again, TOUGH LUCK

You know I agree, but this goes with what I had said before if you choose to allow your kid to handle something like a iPod touch or even a go phone,.. you better make it work a certain way or "KAPOW!" you got a bill you might not be able to get refunded on.

My friend was lucky, he has knowledge on ways you can work the system and was able to get a refund THIS TIME. but it takes time

LOTS of time, and you have to jump through hoops to get it.

Please feel free to explore options and do not be afraid to ask about how to if you have to. These guys want your money and hate to give it back, not cause they're mean but because some 8 year old wants to be popular at school and be the shit amongst his friends and not realize a bill comes attached.

That being said,… I have one more question,.. why are you allowing the iPod to be your baby sitter and not keep an eye on it? Please take a good look at your childs habits or you may get a bill that goes KAPOW11 as you're planning your next vacation.

So a while back I was talking about the storage folks and their racket of hyping some business by way of storage

I know I was talking about the use of handicapped chairs in parks to get red carpet treatment

now fast forward and Son of a bitch LOOK!!

folks are utilizing the wheelchair to skip lines and get in first and STOP THE PARK!!

How nasty is that, and worse NOW folks are making money off this.

I dont think I did but honestly What the fuck? if you are disabled and seriously deserve this great, but honestly if you are selling your disabled ness to get folks to the front, thats wicked,.. and moreover you have no RIGHT as a disable person to enforce your moralistic shit on me,... hey I know, DONT JUDGE ME, but hey its not cool.

You folks KNOW who you are doing this, and everyone one else pays for it later

I say a family with an elderly lady go into a major attraction with that elderly lady,.. umm what part of stupid are you? perhaps those are folks who want their inheritance sooner but who am I to judge?

This poor woman obviously could not work, and what steams me more is that its always the evil insurance company and evil business man who ruined the issue or killed off the person of interest. What is not emphasized is the fact here that the family and person who died from this all was kept ignorant of the whole matter. It was not the insurance companies more than likely,.. there was assistance that the state was probably NOT giving, and then there is the folks who gladly discriminated against her and denied her over someone who was probably illegal or abused it so a neighbor can finance that porsche.

I Blame government because the folks on the inside make it a point NOT to tell you a lot because you don't ASK them

so don't BLAME the fuckers that insure you when the state was probably keeping you in the dark just as much so they can to have a fat bonus paycheck at the end of the year,.. remind those bureaucrats who are happy and fat at their desks if your loved ones die if they are getting a yearly bonus and what they are gonna do with it now that one less person was successfully "killed" off the books.

You need to Make sure your perspective is forced in as graphic a way as possible, because although physical violence may remove the issue, making your opponents think about what they do is truly a more powerful weapon. And if you are especially skilled in verbalizing you anger in as civil a manner as possible, it will truly devastate any state bureaucrat who "knows" the system and is supposed to tell you and doesn't because of that big fat bonus. So if you are in a bind and the state bureaucrat says I dunno,.. you call him or her to task and ask why not if they are a specialist… I think if anything this lady who lost her life to a bureaucrat should serve as a reminder of who works for who, tax dollars you paid into should pay for a knowledgeable person right?

Church Flash

Hey there,… so you probably want to know why the weird title?

I normally don't wanna mention my church here but I had to. Worse I hate giving personal details to share because no matter the issue about church I saw something that was (I thought) extremely funny.

so Anyhow it was a churched thing I was sitting at and everyone was gathering. the priest was "late" or something so it was packed and folks were still scrambling for seating.

In one row were couples and ramies sitting together and this generally non descipt dude walks up on one side of the pew and motioned to be let in

ok,.. so normal there you say,.. its what he did next which unless you happened to see it that made me laugh almost out loud in church.

as he was hobbling over to get to a set in the middle of the pew, he was twisting and turning in such a fashion that as he was moving along he was showing his crotch to all the females in the row and his ass to the males on that same row. He sat down and was there for about a minute, and then someone motioned to him, and as he got up, he DID THE SAME THING. it wasn't an accident because as he passed 2 males his ass was in their face and as he passed two females in a row his crotch was in their face. 

I was chuckling under my breathe and although it may be a bad sin to laugh in church, it was surely a random humorous moment.

yeah go ahead and laugh,… but truly truth is stranger than fiction…...

Is it fixed?

So I can relate to things sometimes when someone asks me... So is it fixed? 

Most of the time I reply, well yes the hardware is, but the stuff that makes your hardware go is another story. 

The same thing I see all the time with other aspects of living. ...

For instance,  if you are looking for a fix for your car.. You want it done, and with everything else it's the waiting. Never mind that the guy doing your car has 20 others to do , you want it done. Not only that, you want it done ...., well, .. Now!

So consider this slice of nastiness as you dial up your tech support dude and ask for help,... Is it truly him taking too long, or did you fail to consider the fuckers' got 500 other callers riding his ass like you. 

Every time I bother to call , I smile, I get to listen to music I haven't heard in years, and I get a break. A long one. 

Folks think I have time but honestly, I don't. 

I just know its easier to consider I'm about to get my fill of oldies without Richard Simmons asking me to breathe in and out and do dancing squats as I go. 

So as you dial up , folks, just beware, one day someone will be mad at you too,  for doing your job. It does go around.

you see in my age this wasn't tied to a phone or a camera or any super expensive device you pay 800 dollars or even 400 dollars for.  We had wild unprotected sex and the "Kapow!" of my time was a pregnancy.

Doing something dangerous was jumping out of a plane that was just fine and hoping the Parachute worked. 

You lived through them both but you had something that tied you to the mistake if the "unthinkable" happened. Child payments or an experience that if not death would make you think twice about jumping out of a perfectly good airplane

Lets face it. you have a toy you want to play with in a manner you were probably TOLD would not work that way or could break. SO,… WHO is to blame?

not the make like APPLE or DROID ,…. but YOU!! Hey I am a trash talking techie NOT a feel good ass patter ,… you want one of those then get a fuckin' hooker Don't come looking to get absolution from me. YOU DID IT.

If you can't take responsibility for that, then let me tell you what you can take responsibility for NOTHING. Please look at yourself seriously. if you CANT pay for your own fuckup, then you deserve it.
